Tom loves Amy. Amy can't stop thinking about Tom. But neither of them knows that and right now they need to worry about their boss's latest "teamwork exercise." Oh and that little mix-up last night where Tom asked Amy out but she thought it was an April Fools' gag.

This book is a novelette-length romantic comedy.

The story was very well written, and I don't recall any typos. That said, I was disappointed in the storyline. The pranking (at least Chuck's and the boss's reactions to it) seemed over the top. I was unimpressed that the heroine would so readily assume —on a day when the entire office has been instructed to play pranks on each other — that the nice man who has been her friend for a year would suddenly become vindictive. And then the story ended without so much as a kiss.

Who Does He Think He Fooling? Worked Up Book 1 edition by Laurie Baxter Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

A Charming comedy of errors, Tom and Amy's romance is completely sweet and adorable. Tom in particular is endearing. A very fun short read, the heat level is non-existent, but it is perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. The April's Fool's Day madness is pretty perfect, and the writing is strong. I totally recommend this clean romance. Enjoy!
This was an adorable story surrounding two friends/co-workers (Tom and Amy) and April Fools Day! Tom is such a sweet guy that you are just left feeling bad for this guy's day! The antics are fun, I did catch myself rolling my eyes at Melanie and wanting to punch Chuck several times in this short novelette though. Looking forward to the next chapter of this happily ever after series!
Amy & Tom and Melanie, Chuck, Ted and Jessica all worked at the same office and their boss Jessica told everyone to play April Fools pranks on each other. The pranks were unbelievable and Amy starts wondering if he's just being immature. It is a cute sweet April Fools book. I would recommend reading this book. I was given an Advanced Reader Copy to review honestly.
This was a sweet, humorous story which I loved.
Just what you need when you need something to jsut fill a few hours.
I loved Amy, Tom and all the other lovable characters.
I wish we had Prankster day at my work.
I am looking forward to reading more by Laurie Baxter.
4.5 super stars!

Don't be fooled by the cover! Though not the best cover, I did like the story quite a bit!

This story was adorable!

I enjoyed the little bits I saw of each character and the plot was cute and fast (unexpectedly).

I just wish there had been more! It was way too short! However, I liked how the action started soon and am interested in reading more by this author.
This is an interesting short story, a romantic comedy that takes place inside a toy design company. Tom has terrible timing and asked his colleague, Amy out on a date on April Fool's Day! After rejecting Tom thinking it's a joke, she is guilt ridden, especially since she is attracted to Tom. Then their boss gets the bright idea of forcing her employees to indulge in pranks to encourage creativity. Chaos ensues and Amy begins to think Tom is a jerk due to his odd behavior. Then all is revealed, the big misunderstanding is cleared up ensuring Tom and Amy have a possible HEA. In real life companies do NOT encourage practical jokes because that could lead to accusations of a hostile work environment and I am surprised no one was on the phone to the company's HR department to file a complaint the moment that was idiotic idea was announce because that could easily a lawsuit.
A Cute Pair of Shorts Two Stories - This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed both humor-filled stories, which were well written and interesting. 4*

Cyber-Ella - Well written and funny; an exploration experience with anonymous online meet cute and no-so-cutes. 4*

The Rescue - Well written and funny; rookie rescues cat and gets well rewarded for his efforts. 4*

A Charlie Brown Christmas - I didn't know what to expect going by the title, but this little second chance story at friendship and misunderstandings was funny. Well written and interesting. 4*

Who Does He Think He's Fooling? - Absolutely hilarious! Just when you think things can't get worse, they do. Well written and full of humor. 4*
